Cape Cod Pen Women at Snow Library

The Cape Cod Branch of the prestigious women's arts organization: the National League of American Pen Women (https://www.nlapw.org) will be exhibiting their art works in the Marion Craine Gallery at Snow Library December 3, 2019 thru January 30, 2020. A portion of this Cape Cod Pen Women's exhibit will change on Jan. 2, 2020, allowing the women to show a wider range of their work. To celebrate there will be two receptions with the artists and writers present. December 7 from 1-3 and January 11 from 11:30-1:30. Art works and books will be for sale. Women who will be showing both art and published books are Linda Ohlson Graham and Anne Ierardi. Artists include Anne Belson-Hevner, Mary Jo Beswick, Shawn Nelson Dahlstrom, Jane Parhiala, Mary Jane Xenakis and Kate Fauller. Writers will be Terri Arthur, Anita Ann Caruso, Kathy Kleekamp and Christina Laurie.
The National League of American Pen Women, Inc. (NLAPW), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1897. The League's headquarters are located in the historic Pen Arts Building and Art Museum in the DuPont Circle area of Washington. Today, the NLAPW has 81 branches in 35 states and many members-at-large. The Cape Cod Branch is an organization of professional female writers, visual artists, musicians and dancers who are dedicated to creating and promoting member's work through meetings, programs, and events. This exhibition and sale of art and the written word is free and open to the public.
